I prefer to call this "Mental Flexibility".
Physical flexibility such as when you're doing your stretching or yoga requires practise. The more you practise, the more that you (generally) will improve.
Mental flexibility is exactly the same.
It requires setting the time aside to do the work.
But it's also accepting that you're a human being, and therefore you're not always perfect.
You learn, you grow, and you move forward.
