Hope you enjoyed the weeknd and the glorious weather.
Today - I'm not here to talk about Wimbledon.
But I am here to talk about sticking to your word.
Not to other people......
But to yourself.
We all know people who talk a good game, but when it comes down to it their actions don't back up their words.
HARSH, REAL TALK TIME......
Does that apply to you?
You see, sticking to your word enables you to pass your mirror test, and this is DIRECTLYlinked to not only your performance, but also to your self esteem and self confidence.
Stick to your word - these things increase.
Don't stick to your word - it may creep up on you slowly, but performance, self esteem and self confidence will begin to decrease.
So I challenge you today to back up your words with ACTION.
Put it in your diary, get some reminders in, and prioritise what needs to be done to make a difference in your life.
It's not always easy, but it's worth it.
I completed the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride yesterday, 60 miles in the scorching heat. It was brutal, but mentally I feel great today knowing I've achieved what I set out to do.
As for my body and how it feels, well I will leave you to re-read today's title!!
