I’m all about doing the work.
Fighting against that negative self-talk, rolling your sleeves up and getting sh1t done.
But sometimes – you simply haven't got it in you.
And that’s ok.
You see, as the saying goes……
“You can’t drink from an empty cup”.
Therefore whilst working hard, being tough, resilient and smashing it.
And all of that other stuff……
Sometimes
you’ve got to rest up.
Take a break, switch off and go on holiday.
And put yourself first.
You see my
friend, in order to be a great partner, parent, leader, and to help others.
You must look after number 1 – and that always begins with a foundation of health.
Your health is eating well and training hard.
But your health is also giving yourself permission to take it easy sometimes, and be comfortable that it’s 100% ok.
So this week, if you’re in that space as always – attack the week!
But also remember that sometimes…….
Less is more.
