It’s honesty time for today.
Are you controlling the controllables, and giving yourself the best foundations for high performance?
Are you making the right choices each day, week and month, so you can be the best
version of you?
I don’t mean the big stuff.
The huge shiny
glamorous tasks.
I mean the boring stuff.
The small, mundane
things that require you to repeat them each and every day: -
Such as getting to bed early and getting a good night’s sleep?
Or drinking plenty of water each day (1 litre per 25kg of your bodyweight)?
Are you moving each day, and getting a daily sweat?
Are you eating well?
Are you reducing your screen time, and being careful of what you absorb (I don’t mean food and drink, I mean what you listen to on
the radio and watch on the T.V )?!
Are you holding boundaries and giving yourself time away from work, to have that thing called a life?
I could go on, but I think you get my point!
You see in life there are many things that are out of our control.
But there are also things that we can do, that will give us the best chance of performing at our peak.
Now I’m not here to tell you off, or make you feel
guilty.
But you know me.
Mr Moylan will ALWAYS tell you how it
is.
So this week, take control of the things that you can.
Get the basics in place.
And get it done.
Give yourself the
foundations to build upon for high performance.
Focus on the simple things, and repeat them often.
Remember –
“Where focus goes, energy flows”.
Attack the week.
