It’s simple.
Be grateful for all the things you have that money can’t buy.
(Read that again).
I celebrated my 44th
birthday yesterday.
Yes, I know I don’t look it, and I’m getting better with age like a fine red wine!
Anyway back to it…..
It got me feeling reflective as I looked across the table at my family and friends who had joined me to celebrate.
How grateful and lucky I am for their support and love.
How grateful and lucky I am for their friendship.
How grateful and lucky I am for their presence to celebrate my day with me.
You see too often in life we get hung up that success is all about materialistic things.
And I’m here today to say that’s complete B.S.
Because materialistic things come and go.
We can always get a bigger house.
Or want to drive a faster car.
But the real things that matter.
Cost us very little.
So I’m urging you today to practise gratitude, and be grateful for the simple things in life.
Other benefits of practising gratitude also can include:-
- Improving your self-esteem,
energy and health.
- Feeling happier, more optimistic and
more resilient.
- Reduction in stress, anxiety and helps
keep you present (amongst many other things).
It really is a game changer.
With that in mind why not give it a go today – you won’t regret it!
Attack the week.
