Firstly guys apologies that this email is a day late.
I was busy all day in a seminar with some cool performance coaching clients of
mine.
And as I'm sure you know guys, sometimes I gotta prioritise those who put food on my
table.
Anyways....
I read some shocking statistics the other day. Such as:-
- The average American hunter gatherer used to walk 15,000 - 20,000 steps per
day. Today the average person walks between 2500 - 3500 (shocking).
- 85% of adult males in America are classified as being metabolically compromised (they basically are overweight and / or take a tablet for some area of their "health" (even more shocking).
And there was more, but I think I've made my point.
You see the simple and harsh truth is.....
Humans have become lazy.
And we are getting worse.
It's time to change that.
Not only do we all need to get more active on a general daily basis.
But we need to train much harder, when we are at the gym.
Now some people will tell you that good old fashioned hard training isn't that great for
you - which is complete B.S.
Mr Moylan on the other hand follows the science behind training, and studies
such as this one will show you that training methods such as HIIT are great not only for fitness, but a host of other wellbeing systems also.
Studies like this also show that training hard increases the function of your heart and lungs, which is only a good thing.
So today.
Instead of convincing yourself that you're working hard, when you know you're not.
Put down your phone when you go to the gym.
Stop f**king about.
And get it done.
Your mind, body, and overall performance will thank you for it.
Attack the week!
