Hi
Hope you're having a good week?
A little while ago I was asked to be a guest speaker for the League Managers Association, Leadership training days.
The subject I was asked to discuss to a room
of football managers - 'Mental Resilience In Professional Football'.
Ex Arsenal captain Tony Adams, Ex Utd forward Mark Hughes and many more well know players were
present.
Then in walked Roy Keane!!
In any seminar you always learn from your audience. This was no
different.
Even away from the cameras Roy Keane is clearly a man of determination and
discipline.
He still does everything to the best of his
ability.
He is a harsh critic when in his opinion people are not giving their all, as he always did. But he also respects those who try
their hardest.
In his own opinion Roy Keane stated he was never one of the worlds best footballers (totally disagree!). But what he did do was
work hard, be determined and try and improve on a daily basis.
He made the sacrifices, the tough choices, and during his career he lived a life of
discipline.
That was the foundation for his talent,
and the reasons for his success.
Speak soon.
