You may have heard that statistically, long term sitting down is the new smoking.
Neck ache, back ache, poor posture, weak core and glutes, as well as links to diabetes, heart disease, dementia as well as a host of other chronic illnesses mean that long term sitting down is destroying us.
We are literally sitting ourselves to
death.
That must change today.
Remember during the dreaded lockdown when you started walking, cycling, and doing more physical exercise?
It's time to get back to that - and now.
Let's get back to 10,000 steps minimum per day.
Let's get back to fresh air, and remember there is no such thing as bad weather (only bad kit).
Let's get back to stepping out of our comfort
zones, and challenging our body to become fitter, faster and stronger (remember, along as you're medically ok too).
Today (again disclaimer alert, as long as you're allowed to), I want you to add this exercise into your training regime.
It really is the king of undoing the effects of long term sitting, and giving you
the high performing body and mind you've always wanted.
