I told you last week to eat the cake!
Because after all, we only get one life.
Now of course, what I meant is that everything is ok in moderation.
And every now and then, a little bit of what is 'bad' for you....
Is actually good for you!
And whilst we are
on the subject of cake.
It was Mr Moylan's birthday last week (in case you had forgotten!) and a slice or two might well have been eaten.....
It made me think of something that one of my teachers used to say:-
That your body and mind are like baking a cake!
What he meant was that if you put the right ingredients in, and follow the
recipe.
It tastes amazing!
But if you don't use the right ingredients, and don't stick to the plan.
The cake becomes a disaster.
And that's exactly the same with the health, fitness and performance of your mind and body.
Put in the right ingredients and stick to the recipe:-
- Lots of water
- Great
sleep
- Nutrition dense food
- Daily sweat
- Positive environment
- Friends who make you laugh
And so on.....
And the cake tastes amazing.
Put in the wrong ingredients, or even get one of them wrong for that matter.
And your health, fitness, performance (and your cake) will begin to
suffer.
The good news....
Pretty much all of this is in your control.
(Read that again ^^^).
So today my question to you is this.
What's stopping you??
