Have you missed me?
As well as being floored with this flu that is flying about (I soldered on in true warrior fashion like us men do!!).
I also decided to take a mini break from writing these weekly emails.
Anyways.....
I read an amazing quote over the weekend (source unknown)
that I have adapted slightly.
It read:-
"Goal setting is not solely about the outcome.
It's about the person you become in their pursuit".
Wow, how true is that?
Goals - some of them we hit, and
some of them we don't.
That for me, is the nature of life.
Not all goals can be extreme, but those that bring us the most reward are often the toughest to conquer.
Therefore there is always a chance of failure.
And as you know, I believe that there is no such thing as failure, it's feedback.
But regardless of whether my pursuit of a goal is a 'success' or
not.
The bigger questions is:-
What person have I, or you for that matter become in the pursuit of my goals?
Have you grown stronger?
Wiser?
Have you faced up to fears?
Or let go of things that know longer serve you?
So for today maybe take a minute of thought.....
In life, some
things you win, and some things you lose.
But if you're growing as a person, learning, and trying to do your best.
Then you've already 100% won.
Have a great week.
