A few people messaged me after seeing my social media post about “taking care of your 3 homes”.
So here is an expansion on this concept for you today.
The theory is that we all have 3 homes, and you must take care of them.
- The earth
- Our body
- Our
mind
Each one is interconnected, and neglecting one affects the others.
Success, health, and happiness come from taking care of all three.
1 – Earth – Your Environment
The planet we live on isn’t just a backdrop to our lives—it’s the foundation of everything.
When you spend time in nature, breathe fresh air, and soak in natural light, your energy shifts. A clean
environment supports a clear mind and a strong body.
Think about the spaces you live and work in.
Do they inspire you or drain you?
The way you treat your surroundings is a reflection of how you treat yourself. Simple actions like reducing waste, getting outside more, and appreciating nature can have a massive impact—not just on the planet but on your mental and physical health too.
Spend time outdoors daily
Keep your spaces clean and clutter-free
Be mindful of how you impact the
world around you
2 – Your Body – Your Vehicle
Your body is the only place you truly have to live in.
It carries you through every experience, challenge, and opportunity.
When you fuel it well, train it with purpose, and allow it to rest, it rewards you with energy, strength, and resilience.
But neglect it—through poor nutrition, lack of movement, or chronic
stress—and everything else suffers.
If you want to perform at your best in business, sports, or life, your body must be a priority.
Move every day (strength, mobility, endurance – whatever works for you)
Fuel it with real food that supports your energy and goals
Prioritize recovery—sleep, hydration, and stress management matter.
3 – Your Mind – Your Sanctuary
A strong mind is the key to success in every area of
life.
Your thoughts shape your actions, your habits, and ultimately, your results.
The problem?
Most people don’t train their minds with the same discipline they train their bodies.
Negative self-talk, stress, and distractions take a toll on your mindset, just like junk food and inactivity take a toll on your body. If you don’t actively shape your mindset, the world will do it for you—and not always in a way that serves
you.
Read, learn, and challenge yourself daily
Surround yourself with people who elevate you
Manage stress with mindfulness, gratitude, and perspective shifts
Final Thought: The Three Are Connected
When you feel off in life, it’s usually because one of these homes is being neglected.
The good news?
By improving even one of them, the others start to follow.
* Take care of your environment →
You feel better, breathe better, and think clearer.
* Train and fuel your body → Your energy increases, your mindset sharpens, and you perform better.
* Strengthen your mind → You make better choices, stay disciplined, and create a better life.
The question is:
Which one do you need to focus on most right now?
Have a great remainder to the week and get
to work on your 3 homes.
